Intro

The composer, singer, songwriter, performer,  describes his sound as RAGGLIFE sound; a fusion of Reggae, Afrobeat(s), Dancehall, and the distinctive elements of Highlife music. K. DANSO produces an internationally accepted sound that connects people from all walks of life. The joy of music and infectious energy is the essential element of his stage presence. He has shared stages with the likes of Angélique Kidjo, Youssou N’Dour, Anthony B, and many great musicians. Open Ohr Mainz, Afrika Tage Vienna, Eurofolk Ingelheim, Afrika Festival Stuttgart, Wilhelmstraßenfest Wiesbaden, and Voice of Germany are some of the stages he has graced. Since 2006, he has been on this musical journey and keeps pushing his craft and message worldwide.

Life in Ghana and migration to Germany greatly influence the kind of topics he writes about and the rhythms he strings together. He looks at the cultures of life on both continents and deals with the past, present, and future, what divides and what connects. Outside music, he is a teacher, and the founder of Abibiman Daakye; www.ada-gh.com,  a Ghanaian rooted NGO focused on decolonisation and black empowerment.
